While some people may be blessed with a natural inclination toward thankfulness, for most of us gratitude is a learned behavior. Given that 75% of our daily thoughts are negative, it isn’t surprising!
It isn’t until later in life that most people discover that gratitude is one of the KEYS to happiness and begin to practice it.
If thankfulness can be difficult for adults to embrace it can be even harder for children and teens who often believe the world revolves around them. That is why we owe it to the younger generations to instill in them the valuable quality of gratitude – of saying those two magic words – ‘THANK YOU’.
Neuroscientists have found that music stimulates more parts of the brain than any other human function. It has an enormous power to shape our mood and our responses. A video like this that combines the power of visuals (we think in pictures) and a catchy song will stay in the memory and trigger the emotions and the “attitude of gratitude” which Zig Ziglar, a pioneer motivational speaker, so powerfully coined, whenever we play or sing it.
Enjoy this celebration and reminder of liberating gratitude now…
